The Indiana Convention Center, located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, is a leading convention facility renowned for its size, flexibility, and connectivity. Opened in 1972 and expanded five times, most recently in 2011, it spans 749,000 square feet of exhibit space when combined with the adjacent Lucas Oil Stadium. The center features 11 exhibit halls, 71 meeting rooms, and three ballrooms, including the 33,335-square-foot Sagamore Ballroom, the Midwest’s largest. Connected by skywalks to 12 hotels with 4,719 rooms, it offers unparalleled convenience for attendees. With 49 loading docks, seven drive-in ramps, and advanced technology, it hosts major events like Gen Con, Indiana Comic Con, and the National FFA Convention. The center holds Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation for stringent health protocols and is an EXHIBITOR Magazine 2021 and 2022 Centers of Excellence award recipient. A 2024 expansion will add a 50,000-square-foot ballroom and 93,500 square feet of meeting space, pushing total rentable space beyond 1,000,000 square feet.
